Swagbucks - Everything you Need to Know

With more & more questions coming up about Swagbucks I've decided to make a How-to guide so you can get the best results!

First off, you obviously must be signed up for Swagbucks - this doesn't take very long at all to do.

What is Swagbucks?

Swagbucks is a Website that rewards points, which can later be redeemed for giftcards, for searching, watching sponsored videos and more.

How Can I get the most out of Swagbucks? 

• One of the main earning points is via Searching - so it might help to set Swagbucks as your homepage OR download the toolbar. The search page itself it very similar to the Google or Yahoo search pages.I just recently installed the Toolbar & got a few Swagbucks for doing so!

• Another quick way to earn points is by doing the NOSO (No Obligation Special Offers) you don't have to accept them, just click on "Skip to Next Offer"  until the end, enter the Security code & there are your points!
• Games - play games to earn Swagbucks, play a couple games for a few minutes & you will get a pop up with TWO Swagbucks - you can do this 5 times a day for a maximum amount of  10 Swagbucks..
• The Daily Poll - it is easy and literally all you're doing is clicking on an answer & voting.
•  There is always Swagbucks TV - you do have to watch the video for a certain period of time (generally seems to be anywhere from 50 to 60 seconds) Some videos are longer than others, you can choose which category you would like to watch and you can do this quite a few times to earn more Swagbucks. The only thing about the videos is you will need to watch about 9-10 videos to get 3 Swagbucks.You can watch it enough to earn 75 Swagbucks a DAILY!
• Referrals - Refer your friends to Swagbucks - when they earn Swag Bucks through Search you win matching Swagbucks! You can refer people with a link that includes your username to gain Swagbucks from referring them. There are also Banners available as well for adding to blogs, websites etc. This can be found under the "Promote" tab.
• Swag Codes - these are released via Swagbucks at random times, you find the code, enter it & get Swagbucks. These are time sensitive however so you must make sure it is still active when you enter it to actually obtain any points. 
• The odd time you will have the opportunity to do surveys as well to earn Swagbucks - it's located under the "Earn" tab as "Trusted Surveys". If you disqualify for a survey you are rewarded still with one Swagbuck. You may also get a "Hot Offer" (which can be a Video poll, Survey etc) this will show up in your Swagbucks accounts Inbox. Try to click them as soon as possible,  sometimes the quota is filled really quickly for them.

All of the above listed options can  be found from the "Earn" tab - minus Referrals, they can be found under the "Promote" tab. (which turns into a drop-down menu when highlighted) I started my Swagbucks account almost a year ago now and have gotten many $5 Amazon.ca gift cards - which in turn has gotten me free DVDs, books, CDs and more. At 450 Swagbucks you have enough to redeem for a $5 Amazon.ca or Amazon.com gift card, join & check out the prizes!
